Talisman-R is a hydroacoustic early warning device detecting any non-authorized underwater objects or divers with vertical echo sounding. Low-power sonars (LPS) connected into a line with fiber optic cable reliably alarm about any attempt to approach secured area from waterside. LPS transceivers are connected into one 1000 m line and simultaneously emit a sounding high-frequency acoustic signal. Sonar signals reflected from the surveillance object (sonar target) are received, filtered and amplified by the transceivers.
