KATRAN-4 is designed for surveillance and reconnaissance missions, search and rescue operations, border patrol, perimeter and sensitive site protection, evaluation of camouflage and concealment measures, detection of mines and hidden objects.
KATRAN-4 supports self-positioning and target positioning. It provides accurate calculation of target coordinates and distance with ability to save photos and video footage on SD-card. It is possible to switch between “White Hot” and “Hot Black” modes for reliable target detection at night time. Built-in rangefinder calculates distances from 10 to 3000m.
