Fara-PV
Portable short-range surveillance radar with a panoramic display

Mission:

The Fara-PV portable short-range surveillance radar with a panoramic display radar is intended to detect moving ground targets (people, automobiles and armored vehicles) during border surveillance and ground reconnaissance activities, including in hard-to-reach areas.

The radar operates round-the-clock, in any season, and under zero visibility conditions (fog, smoke, dust, snowfall).

Features:

Structurally, the Fara-PV radar is a tripod-mounted transceiver with a drive connected to a control console by a 5 meter cable. When a connecting cable is used, the control console can be moved to up to 15 m away from the transceiver.

A radar control console’s color display shows radar mode data, target blips and tracks, security zones and lines, target coordinates in polar or rectangular coordinates and oth-er required information. In reconnaissance mode, an audio and visual alarm is generated when a target is detected within the protected line or area of responsibility.
