The ARMY international military-technical forum has been held annually at the Patriot congress and exhibition center, Kubinka, Moscow Region since 2015. Rosoboronexport has attended and sponsored all of the exhibitions.

ARMY is organized by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Co-organizers are the Rostec State Corporation and Federal Space Agency. The forum’s organizing committee headed by the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu includes Rosoboronexport’s Director General as one of its members.

The forum covers the following topics: armaments and equipment for the Land Forces, Navy, Aerospace Defense Forces, airborne troops and Missile Strategic Forces, military medicine, construction sector, hypersonic aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, remote sensing microsatellites and development of armaments based on new physical principles and nanotechnologies.

Over a short period of its existence, ARMY has become one of the high profile events in the Russia’s exhibition sector bringing together all leading Russian and foreign producers of military equipment. The forum includes static and dynamic demonstrations and fire trials of armored vehicles and small arms. Flight program demonstrating advanced aircraft equipment is also envisaged. The main purpose of the forum is to provide conditions for the effective search of innovative research, developments and technologies for the benefit of defense and security of the country.
