International Military-Technical Forum ARMY is held at the Patriot Expo in the town of Kubinka of the Moscow Region. The Forum has been held annually since 2015. Rosoboronexport has been a participant and sponsor of all previous exhibitions.

The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation is the organizer of the ARMY, Rostec State Corporation and State Space Corporation Roscosmos are co-organizers. Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu is the head of the organizing committee, to which Rosoboronexport’s Director General Alexander Mikheev is a member.   

The themes of the forum cover: armaments and military equipment of the Navy, Aerospace Forces, Airborne Forces and Strategic Missile Forces, as well as military medicine, construction complex, hypersonic aircraft, use of microsatellites for remote sensing of earth, creation of weapon systems based on new physical principles and nanotechnologies.

Within a short period of time, the ARMY forum has become one of the world's priority events in the sphere of exhibitions, bringing together all the leading Russian and foreign manufacturers of military products. The forum includes static and dynamic demonstrations, firing tests of armoured vehicles and small arms, as well as a flight program with demonstration of promising pieces of aviation equipment.

The main objective of the forum is to create conditions for an effective search for innovative research projects, developments and technologies in the interests of state defence and security.
