The International Defense Exhibition (IDEX) has traditionally topped the list of the largest and most prestigious regional and global events promoting cutting-edge military equipment. The years 2017 marks the 13th edition of the exhibition. Rosoboronexport has attended all of the previous exhibitions.
The exhibition is held under the patronage of the His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, supported by the Armed Forces of the United Arabic Emirates.
IDEX features a wide range of land, air, sea and air defense equipment.
The exhibition provides exhibitors with a unique opportunity to present not only static models of military equipment but also their operation at the exhibition demonstration track (water crossing, rough terrain crossing, etc.) and in the water canal (trials of small motorboats and amphibious boats).
