The DUBAI AIRSHOW international aerospace exhibition is one of the largest international aerospace exhibitions held under the auspices of the Dubai government, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and UAE Ministry of Defense every two years since 1989.
The show is held at the DUBAI Airshow Site, Dubai World Central (DWC).
Over the past few years the exhibition has evolved to become one of the most important defense events for the Persian Gulf and Middle Eastern countries. Given its scale and international expansion, DUBAI AIRSHOW ranks third in the list of the largest and most important exhibitions after the Paris AERO SHOW (France) and Farnborough International (Great Britain).
The topics of the exhibition include the aircraft and air defense equipment, space equipment, civilian aviation and aircraft construction technologies.
Russia has participated in all of the previous exhibitions since 1993.
