The IDEX international defence exhibition is traditionally the most prestigious and the largest in the region and in the world. It demonstrates the latest developments in the area of armaments and military equipment. In 2021 it will be held for the 15th time, in Abu Dhabi on February 21-25.
Rosoboronexport acts as the organizer of Russia’s joint display at the exhibition. The company has participated in all previous shows. The Russian delegation will include representatives of the federal authorities, leading holdings and enterprises.
The thematic scope of IDEX includes armaments and military equipment for land forces, air force and navies, as well as for air defence.
The event will present to the exhibitors a unique opportunity to demonstrate full-scale specimen of armaments and military equipment during a static stationing, as well as in action on the testing ground in the territory of the exhibition centre (water obstacle crossing, cross-country running) and on water canal (testing of small boats and amphibious vehicles).
