The Leading Latin American Defence and Security Exhibition LAAD is one of the most representative international exhibitions in Latin America. It will be held at the RIOCENTRO exhibition centre in Rio de Janeiro under the auspices of the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil.

The exhibition has been held on a biennial basis since 1997. Russia has taken part in all previous exhibitions. In 2021 Rosoboronexport acts as the organizer of Russia’s joint display at the LAAD exhibition.

Thematic scope of LAAD includes: aviation and space equipment of military and civilian purpose, armaments and military equipment of land forces, air force, navy, air defence and means of communication.
