International Special Operations and Forces Exhibition and Conference SOFEX is one of the largest thematic exhibitions in the Middle East and Northern Africa. It has been held biannually since 1996. Rosoboronexport has been participating in it since 1998.

In 2018 SOFEX will be held in Amman, Jordan on May 8-10.

The exhibition is held under the aegis of the King of Jordan Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and his Royal Highness Lieutenant General Feisal bin Al-Hussein.

The main focus of SOFEX is on presenting special operations forces, their specialized equipment and tooling, methods of training and delivery, including the fire support and logistics. A special section is devoted to the field medicine. The exhibition will envisage wide-scale demonstrations, tactical firing and dynamic presentations of materiel.

Rosoboronexport is defined as the organizer of the unified Russian exhibit in 2018 in accordance with the decision of the Federal Service on Military and Technical Cooperation.
