27.05.2016 Press release

At an international meeting of high representatives supervising security issues, held from 23 to 25 May in Grozny under the auspices of the Russian Security Council, special exporter Rosoboronexport (part of the Rostec State Corporation) submitted its proposals under the Integrated Security Systems project to delegations from more than 30 countries.

“We participated in the forum as an exhibitor for the first time and are very pleased with the results. It is a unique platform to showcase the Russian industry’s capabilities to foreign law enforcement management representatives. In view of the growing scope of activities against international terrorism, the budgets of these agencies in some countries are comparable with those allocated to the armed forces. Therefore, we intend to intensify our efforts in the area, which can add significantly to the amount of military-technical cooperation with foreign countries, including in coordination with Russia’s Security Council,” said Sergey Goreslavsky, Rosoboronexport’s Deputy Director General.

The Company provided the integrated presentation of Russian equipment intended for fighting against terrorism and extremism, protecting public order, critical facilities and state borders.

Delegations from Venezuela, Vietnam, Zimbabwe, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Serbia, South Africa and other countries showed interest in the Integrated Security Systems project. Russian unmanned aircraft systems, special small arms, electronic intelligence equipment, screening systems and light helicopters attracted particular attention from foreign partners.
