Rosoboronexport signed at DEFEXPO India 2016 Memorandum of understanding with Bharat Electronics Limited

At the International exhibition of Land and Naval weapons DEFEXPO India 2016, which takes place in South Goa from 28 to 31 March, Rosoboronexport (part of Rostec State Corporation) signed with one of the largest Indian defense companies Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) Memorandum of understanding (MOU).

Within the framework of offset programs the parties are planning to implement projects that refer to development of industrial cooperation between Russia and India including organization of coproduction of military and dual-purpose goods.

«The projects proposed by Rosoboronexport within the framework of offset agreements are fully comply with Make in India program and they will lead to strengthening of industrial and scientific-technical potential of Indian defense industry.» – said Sergei Goreslavsky, Deputy director general of JSC Rosoboronexport, who heads the joint delegation of Rostec State Corporation and JSC "Rosoboronesport" on DEFEXPO India 2016.
