Rosoboronexport, a member of Rostec, is going to participate in sports competition “Rostec: Russian Corporate Games”. The event is organized by Sport Fund and will be held from 9th to 12th of June in the Crimea. The state-controlled special exporter also traditionally sponsors the Games.
The Games will include 24 sport competitions. Rosoboronexport employees are to compete with their colleagues from more than 50 Russian enterprises in 7 sports: chess, pull-ups, sailing regatta, mini-football, volleyball, basketball, and track and field athletics.
“Sport has an amazing ability to unite people. Teambuilding is especially important in our field as military-technical cooperation is exclusively a matter of good team work, when million and often billion dollars contracts happen to depend on each person’s work performance. Sport brings up person’s tenacity, strength of character, desire to win – these qualities are particularly valued in Rosoboronexport”, – highlighted Yury Kaptelkin, Head of the Office of the Director General.
A total of 1200 sportsmen will participate in the Games. Among them 33 people are representatives of Rosoboronexport. In addition to sports competitions they will go in for an Intellectual Quiz about sports. The participants will also take part in special events dedicated to the celebration of the Day of Russia.
