Rosoboronexport will become the general sponsor of M-1 Challenge 77 tournament

In the year of its 20th anniversary M-1 Global with the support of Rostec State Corporation and the sponsorship of Rosoboronexport, will hold an international Mixed Martial Arts tournament «M-1 Challenge 77». The event will be held on May 19 in Sochi.

The general sponsor of the event Rosoboronexport is the World's largest company for the export of military products, with a long history and more than half a century of keeping its traditions. M-1 Global proved to have a solid experience in developing top-class events and holds its place among the leaders in its area. Both partners will combine their forces to arrange a spectacular show for the admirers of Mixed Martial Arts on the Black Sea coast.

Rosoboronexport is Russia's only government organization for the export/import of the entire range of military, dual-use products, services and technologies. Rosoboronexport as the part of the Rostec State Corporation is one of the leaders in the World arms market with more than 85% of Russian arms and military equipment exported through it. Rosoboronexport cooperates with more than 700 enterprises and organizations of the Russian defense industry. For the first time in history, the state special exporter will become the main sponsor of the Mixed Martial Arts tournament.

M-1 Global leads its history since 1997 and has arranged more than 200 tournaments around the World since then. Over two thousand spectacular fights have been held in 17 countries, which are located in three parts of the World. The stars of the top-level of MMA World, headed by Fedor Emelianenko, Alexander Shlemenko, Sergei Kharitonov and many other fighters came through tournaments held under M-1 Global’s banner. Today «M-1 Challenge» events are broadcasted live in more than 100 countries of the World, on four continents.

For the tournament set for May 19 the organizers selected the undefeated Russian fighter Artyom Frolov, the special-operations reconnaissance veteran Andrey Seledtsov, the knockout master Valery "The Russian Hammer" Myasnikov, the winner of Road To M-1 Germany Till Kinne, as well as the best Spanish fighter Enoc Solves Torres, World Kickboxing and Kudo Champion Raul Tutauli, and many other renowned Russian and foreign fighters to participate in this event.

In the schedule of this tournament there are planned to be more than 10 uncompromising and exciting fights to be held, which will not leave uninterested all the admirers of Mixed Martial Arts.
