At EUROSATORY 2014, the International Land and Air-Land Defense and Security Exhibition, to be held from 16 to 20 June in Paris (France), Rosoboronexport will present Russian military products enjoying strong demand on the global market.
“This is one of the oldest and most prestigious international defense exhibitions, which demonstrates the latest products and developments and where you can see all the trends for the market of land forces’ weapons and air defenses. Traditionally, we present here Russia's most advanced armored vehicles, artillery and missile systems, close assault weapons and ammunition, key air defenses, various trainer systems, as well as some helicopter models,” – said Rosoboronexport’s Deputy Director General Igor Sevastyanov, who heads the company’s delegation at the exhibition.
Rosoboronexport expects increased interest in various BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle versions, a lightweight version of the Smerch multiple rocket launcher system, upgraded 155mm MSTA-S self-propelled howitzer, Kornet-EM anti-tank missile system, Khrizantema-S self-propelled anti-tank system, Pantsir-S1, Tor-M2E and Buk-M2E SAM systems, Ka-52, Mi-28NE, and Mi-35M attack helicopters, and Mi-17-type military transport helicopters.
Talks with leading world manufacturers of weapons and military equipment have been scheduled to be held during the exhibition, including meetings with French partners, with whom Russia implements a significant number of mutually beneficial projects in the interests of both the Russian Armed Forces and third countries’ defense and law enforcement agencies.
“Cooperation on the international arms market is growing every year. This is a natural process that is beneficial to all parties involved. In this respect, we have achieved the greatest success in Europe with our French partners. And we expect that a rational and balanced approach enabling us to realize the great potential of cooperation between our defense industries will continue. Such cooperation fully meets the national interests of both countries,” – said Igor Sevastyanov.
At the exhibition, Rosoboronexport also expects to hold talks with delegations from South-East Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, and Latin America.
