At the 19th International Air & Space Fair FIDAE 2016, which will be held at the Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport from 29 March to 3 April, Russian companies will present over 350 key export models of aircraft, air defense systems and aerial weapons.

According to the order by the Russian Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation, Rosoboronexport was appointed to be the organizer of the joint Russian exhibition area. The joint Russian delegation will be headed by the Deputy Director of the Russian Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation Anatoly Punchuk, the joint delegation of the Rostec State Corporation and JSC Rosoboronexport will be headed by Deputy Director General of the JSC Rosoboronexport Sergei Ladygin.

The following companies will take part in the exhibition: Rosoboronexport, Russian Helicopters, Concern VKO Almaz-Antey, Scientific-Production Concern Mechanical Engineering (Techmash), United Aircraft Corporation (Mig Corporation, Irkut Corporation).

FIDAE is one of the largest aerospace exhibitions in Latin America, which is held biennially under the egis of the Chilean Air Forces, with support from the Chilean Presidential Administration and Government. In 2016, about 100 delegations from 28 countries will visit the exhibition. Russia has been a FIDAE participant since 1994.
