EXPORT/IMPORT
Rosoboronexport accounts for more than 85% of Russian arms exports. The Company offers foreign customers weapons and military equipment for the Land Forces, Air Force and Navy, air defense systems, special-purpose equipment, as well as spare parts, materials, tools, auxiliary and training equipment.
Based on a comprehensive analysis of foreign partners’ interests and real needs, the Company develops target programs to promote Russian military products to the international market and implements them in cooperation with Russian defense enterprises and organizations.
In addition, Rosoboronexport meets Russian customers’ requests for importing foreign-made military and dual-use products, industrial products, as well as works and services.

Establishment of licensed production of weapons and military equipment abroad
Recently, it has been increasingly clear that a number of countries are willing to abandon purchases of final products in favor of establishing or modernizing national defense enterprises. In this regard, the partner countries are showing growing interest in acquiring licenses in Russia to produce final military products and various modern technologies.
Rosoboronexport has already successfully established enterprises in several regions of the world for assembling and producing Russian aircraft, helicopters, armored vehicles, small arms and ammunition for various purposes under license. Licensed production and technology transfer is among the most important tools to expand Russia's military-technical cooperation with foreign partners.
MODERNIZATION AND MAINTENANCE
Russian developers and manufacturers of weapons and military equipment have developed comprehensive programs to upgrade previously delivered weapons, which increase their combat effectiveness and operational reliability.
