"Vikhr-M" guided missiles complex is autonomous, multi-purpose, systemically, complete and designed to be placed on helicopters.

The "Vikhr-1" guided missile included in the complex "Vikhr-M" is designed for effective engagement of ground mobile and ﬁxed armored targets, lightly armored and military transport, ammunition depots, bridges, command posts and enemy manpower, as well as surface targets (patrol and missile boats, patrol ships and minesweepers, medium displacement warships) day and night in simple and partially-adverse weather conditions.
