ASN-233115 Tigr-M Special-Purpose Vehicles
The ASN-233115 Tigr-M vehicles combine high- and fast-mobility performance, can operate day and night, regardless of the season, and do not require shelters for storage.
The AMN 233115 configuration is different from VPK-233136 in the number of seats reduced to six, addition of a roof-mounted rotating platform for weapons and stowage for weapons, ammunition, and accessories inside the vehicle.
The body’s armor is welded from steel plates. All windows are armored. The armor provides all-round protection of the crew, vital assemblies and units from hits of 7.62mm steel core bullets fired from the AKM assault rifle (STANAG 4569 Level 1). Provisions have been made in the design to protect the crew from blasts of 0.6 kg explosive detonated under the wheels and/or belly of the vehicle to the extent of its survivability and mobility remaining unaffected.
