The AZART communications system is designed to establish digital communications networks at tactical level.
The R-187-P1E hand-held radio features integral infrared port and Bluetooth transceiver and an encryption device to protect data being transferred. The radio supports automatic radio relay mode that dramatically increases communications range.
The radio works in pseudo-random operating frequency readjustment mode at a rate of 20,000 hops per second. This feature provides high electronic intelligence protection and jamming resistance of the terminal.
The R-187VE vehicle-borne radio covers HF, UHF and VHF frequency bands. Owing to algorithms of its software, the radio supports self-organizing and self-reestablishing solutions. The radio a data transmission rate of up to 9.6 kb/s in HF bands and up to 32 Mb/s in upper UHF2 bands; therefore, large amounts of data, voice signals and streaming videos can be transmitted with no lags in real-time mode. The radio can be integrated into various communications hubs and command-and-control posts. It also has robust performance in mobile tactical-level wireless networks. Various armoured vehicles, C2 platforms and mobile communications hubs can be fitted with the R-187VE.
