The RPG-29M man-portable grenade launcher is designed to deliver aimed fire by PG-29VM antitank round, TBG-29VM thermobaric round, and MG-29V multipurpose round. The RPG-29M can be fitted with a daytime optical or day and nighttime thermal imaging sight.
- The PG-29VM antitank round is designed to engage tanks of all types (including the ones fitted with explosive reactive armor), other armored and soft skin materiel and to suppress firing points and manpower in buildings, structures and shelters.

The TBG-29VM thermobaric round is designed to engage enemy manpower and firepower in open terrain, field fortifications and buildings. The round also is capable of engaging lightly armored and soft skin materiel.

The MG-29V multipurpose round is designed to efficiently engage crews and combat crews of lightly armored and unarmored materiel, as well as enemy manpower and firepower in open terrain, field fortifications and buildings.
