PPK-20 9mm Kalashnikov Submachine Gun

Reliable, modular and compact submachine gun PPK-20 was designed for Russian Air-crew members and vehicle-crew members but was adopted by some Land Forces units, operatives of the law-enforcement agencies and special forces.

PPK-20

PPK-20 9mm submachine gun was independently designed within “Vityaz-MO” R&D project. It features an ambidextrous selector, folding adjustable stock and a quick-detach suppressor. Polymer handguard has several standard M-Lock slots that allow a user to attach additional Picatinny rails in order to mount tactical flashlights or lasers.

DESCRIPTION

The trials showed that when 7N21 ammunition is used, PPK-20 could penetrate an A3 body armour (NIJ standard). With this round, the muzzle velocity of the PPK-20 is nearly 450 m/s. Apart from 7N21 the PPK-20 uses the whole variety of 9mm Luger type ammunition. The submachine gun has Picatinny rails for mounting foreign and Russian made optics, red dots and other equipment, and for laser designators and flashlights there are M-Loks, which save proper modularity and keep the weapon compact.
