The RPL-7 7.62 mm belt-fed light machine gun is designed to engage enemy manpower, firepower and soft skin motor vehicles. The RPL-7 fires 7.62x39 mm cartridges, with ammunition fed from a belt holding 80 rounds.
The machine gun design allows for the installation of various optical and night sights, target indicator, flashlight and other attachments.
The RPL-7 is equipped with two-side controls, enabling to fire with either the right or left hand. A foldable telescopic butt, adjustable in length, is installed on the machine gun. The RPL-7 can be equipped with a low-noise firing device (silencer), a detachable bipod, a front grip, a strap and a detachable handle for carrying.
