The radar implements:

• short time for establishing routes through high-speed air objects (up to 10 s);
• high rate of information update, including on high-speed and maneuvering air objects (1-3 sec);
• long detection ranges of ballistic missile launches;
• high altitudes in ballistic objects tracking mode.

The multifunctional 55Zh6ME radar is intended for use as a source of radar information for detecting aerodynamic and ballistic objects under conditions of radio interference.
