The Podlet-K1KE radar is capable of detecting a wide class of air targets, receiving flight information from air objects and is used to equip air defence and air force radio engineering units.
The radar has high noise immunity and is capable of operating in various spatial viewing modes.
The “Podlet-K1KE” radar in a mobile version is intended for use in automated air defence and air force units to solve problems of automatic (semi-automatic) detection, coordinate measurement, tracking, determination of nationality (identification), obtaining flight information and recognizing air objects and advanced low-altitude air attack weapons, including those manufactured using Stealth technology, in conditions of forested, moderately rugged terrain with a forest height of up to 14 m under the influence of intense active, passive and combined interference, as well as fire suppression.
