Radar 59N6-TE provides:
- detection and tracking of aerodynamic, ballistic and hypersonic targets;
- measurement of range, azimuth and height of targets;
- work in conditions of interference;
- direction finding of active noise jammers;
- automatic and semi-automatic modes of locking-on and tracking of air defense;
- recognition of eight classes of targets, including selection of anti-radar missiles and warning of combat crews about the danger of destruction.
The 59N6-TE mobile radar is designed to equip radio engineering units when working as part of automated groups; it solves the task of issuing radar information for target designation of air defence systems and guidance of fighter aircraft.
The radar can be made in mobile, stationary versions and on a high-altitude support.
