Distinctive features of the radar:
- fully digital processing of radar signals;
- flexible adaptation of the signal processing system to the interference environment;
- adaptive suppression of side lobes of the antenna radiation pattern.
The station is designed for automatic detection, measurement of coordinates and tracking of a wide class of modern air objects (strategic and tactical aircraft, low-profile targets, including those made using Stealth technology), recognition of target classes, determination of their nationality, direction finding of active noise jammers, issuing radar information to the automated control systems.
