The combat vehicle for the MANPADS squad is capable of firing "Igla-S" or "Verba" MANPADS missiles, including on the move, and ensures high automation of combat work and round-the-clock combat use. The "Gibka-S" combat vehicle is designed for:

  • air defence of combined arms units in all types of combat operations, including on the march;
  • defence of small-sized objects of the Armed Forces, industry and infrastructure from attacks by cruise missiles and other air attack weapons flying at low and extremely low altitudes;
  • transportation of a squad of MANPADS anti-aircraft gunners with its standard weapons, combat control equipment and property in an armored vehicle.
