The Pantsir-S1M air defence missile and gun system (ADMGS) is distinguished by a number of improved tactical and technical characteristics, including an increased range and altitude of engagement of air targets, and is capable of using three types of SAMs: 57E6M-E, 57E6-E and TKB-1055 short-range interception SAMs.
"Pantsir-S1M" ADMGS is designed to provide air defence of small military (including mobile) objects, administrative, industrial areas and facilities against aircraft, helicopters, cruise missiles, different-type UAVs, single MRLS shells, guided air bombs, cruise missiles, and other high-precision weapons, as well as to support air defence forces when repelling massive air strikes
