"Antey-4000" air defence missile system

The S-300VM Antey-4000 air defense missile system has high tactical and technical specifications, allowing it to be used for air defence of the most important administrative, industrial and military facilities, troop groupings, coastal infrastructure and naval forces at bases.

The Antey-4000 ADMS has a significant range and altitude of targets engagement, the system is universal for destroying all types of aerodynamic targets and ballistic missiles with a launch range of up to 2500 km.

The Antey-4000 ADMS is designed to destroy:

  • modern and prospective tactical and strategic aircraft (including those made using "Stealth" technology);
  • medium-range ballistic missiles;
  • operational-tactical and tactical missiles;
  • aeroballistic and cruise missiles;
  • radar patrol and guidance aircraft, reconnaissance and strike systems;
  • loitering jammers.

Characteristics

Capabilities of air defence system to destroy air targets:

 maximum engagement range:
aerodynamic targets

380 km

tactical ballistic missiles 40 km
operational-tactical ballistic missiles 45 km
maximum engagement altitude:
aerodynamic targets

33 km

ballistic targets    27 km
maximum speed of engaged ballistic targets 4800 m/s
the minimum RCS of engaged targets 0.02 square meters
Number of simultaneously fired targets is determined by the number of launchers supplied to the customer

The 9S457-2E command post

The 9S457-2E command post is designed to control all combat assets of the system and automatically distribute targets between batteries, taking into account the degree of their danger, the combat readiness of ADMS and the available stock of missiles.

The 9S15MDE all-round radar

The 9S15MDE all-round radar designed for timely detection and identification of all types of aerodynamic targets, as well as tactical ballistic missiles and the transmission of information about them to the 9S457-2E command post via radio or wired communication channels.

The 9S19M-1 sector-viewing radar station

The 9S19M-1 sector-viewing radar station is designed for timely detection and tracking of medium-range ballistic missiles, operational-tactical and tactical ballistic missiles, other air targets with an RCS of 0.02 m2 and the transmission of air situation data to the 9S457-2E command post.

The 9S32M-1E multichannel missile guidance station

The 9S32M-1E multichannel missile guidance station designed for search (autonomous or based on target designation data), detection, locking-on (automatic or manual) and automatic tracking of detected targets; determining the flight parameters of tracked targets and transferring them to launchers; automatic scanning of the ground edge for timely detection of suddenly appearing low-flying targets.

9A83M-2E launcher (up to 6 units in one SAM battery)

9A84M-1E launching-loading installation (up to 6 units in one air defence missile system battery).
