The GPD-30 round with improved effectiveness HE grenade is designed to firing from the 30mm AGS-30 automatic grenade launcher system in order to defeat unsheltered and entrenched enemy manpower, including manpower wearing body armor, as well as soft-skinned military equipment with a HE grenade.

The round is equipped with a nose instantaneous fuse, which ensures reliable operation of the grenade on impact with various obstacles, including the snow and water surface.

The GPD-30 round with HE grenade can effectively engage targets at a maximum distance of up to 2,100 meters.
