KATRAN-4 is designed for surveillance and reconnaissance missions, search and rescue operations, border patrol, perimeter and sensitive site protection, evaluation of camouflage and concealment measures, detection of mines and hidden objects.
The device supports self-positioning and target positioning. It provides accurate calculation of target coordinates and distance with ability to save photos and video footage on SD-card. It is possible to switch between “White Hot” and “Hot Black” modes for reliable target detection at night time. Built-in rangefinder calculates distances from 10 to 3000m.
