Effective radio air monitoring


Unique multi-purpose mobile system capable of monitoring the entire range of tactical radio traffic, as well as cellular and trunking radio telephone communication. The LEER-2E provides high speed of frequency band scanning with the capability to find direction and measure parameters of detected signal sources.


The system is designed for assessment of electromagnetic environment, radio reconnaissance  and electronic suppression of radio sources.

The LEER-2E can be delivered in various configurations particularly on KAMAZ 4350 truck chassis and TIGR-M (GAZ 2330) lightly armoured off-road vehicle.

Functional capabilities of the system:

search, direction finding, recording, parameters measurement of standard VHF radio, cellular and trunking communications means operating on preset frequencies;

search, recoding and parameters measurement of standard VHF radio means operating in the pseudo-random operational frequency readjustment (PROFR) mode at a rate of up to 1,000 hops per second without direction finding and up to 300 hops per second with direction finding;

automated detection of location of radio signals when operating in tandem with a similar system or in the multi-point direction finding mode when the station is in motion (during self-contained operation);

selective and broadband electronic barrage against VHF radio communications; GSM 900, GSM 1800/1900, CDMA 2000, WCDMA, AMPS/DAMPS, NMT-450 mobile systems; trunking communications systems (TETRA, MPT-1327).

Stationed at friendly communication hubs the LEER-2E is capable of monitoring radio frequency band in order to detect unintentional and mutual interference.

The LEER-2E system can generate selective frequency-modulated interference on the basis of signal analysis.

Moreover, the system can generate barrage broadband noise in a band of up to 75 MHz.
