The 9mm SR.3M modernized small-sized assault rifle is designed to defeat live targets protected with armor vests of Crisat type and with optical sight to defeat soft materiel at the range of up to 400 m. SP-5 sniper cartridge and SP-6 armor-piercing cartridge are used for firing from SR.3M.

SR.3M may be used in different versions: without the silencer and folded butt or with the silencer and unfolded butt. Removable silencer and bullet subsonic speed ensure the sufficient reduction of demaskin factors of the shot-level of the sound, smoke and flash.

Folding fore grip ensures stable holding the weapon and firing efficiency when delivering fire in short bursts. SR.3M can be used with mechanical sight, with optical sight PSO-1M2-1 or night sight NSPU-3.

The assault rifle construction ensures easy carrying and minimal readiness time.
