The shocker is delivered in two versions - Karakurt-A and Karakurt-AS which differ in overall dimensions and weight. Both versions are convenient for concealed carry.

Karakurt is intended primarily for security personnel and guards working in areas where it is not recommended to demonstrate the carrying of weapons.

Karakurt can be used both in contact with the enemy, and at a distance. For remote exposure, two types of cartridges can be applied:

► electroshock (shoots at a distance of up to 4.5 meters);
► light-sound for psychological impact.
