The international exhibition of land and naval armaments DEFEXPO India has been held with the support of the country’s Government, Ministry of Defence and the Indian Federation of the Chambers of Commerce & Industry once every two years since 2000. The organizer of the exhibition is the ‘Defence Exhibition Organisation’ company.

In 2018 the exhibition will be held in Chennai (State Tamil Nadu) on April 11-14.

The thematic scope includes armored vehicles, missiles and artillery systems, small arms, air defence systems, naval equipment, military clothing, communication means, engines, environmental control assets, optoelectronic devices, space and satellite technologies, telecommunication systems, information systems, explosives, maintenance and servicing of defence products.

In line with the decision of the Federal Service on Military and Technical Cooperation, in 2018 Rosoboronexport is defined as the organizer of the unified Russian exhibit at DEFEXPO India 2018. The exhibit will include products from nearly 30 enterprises of the Russian defence-industrial complex.
