JSC Rosoboronexport (part of the Rostec State Corporation) has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Management Office of the International Military Music Festival ‘Spasskaya Tower’.  

In line with the signed agreement, Rosoboronexport will provide financial support for the preparation and conduct of the International Military Music Festival ‘Spasskaya Tower’, which will be held on Moscow’s Red Square fr om August 24 to September 2, 2018.

‘We traditionally act as the general sponsor of the ‘Spasskaya Tower’. This is the main and the most well-known military music event in Russia, which will be held for the 11th time this year. The festival hosts in Moscow dozens of leading bands fr om Europe and Asia as well as performances of the best Russian military musical and equestrian ensembles. Bright performances and musical drive unite thousands of spectators from different countries of the world, many of which are our partners. They let us breathe in full the power of art, and by this our cooperation is getting more energy,” noted Alexander Mikheev, Rosoboronexport’s Director-General.  

The largest world parade of military bands ‘Spasskaya Tower’ has been held at the walls of the Moscow Kremlin since 2007 in accordance with the instruction of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The best military bands from Europe and Asia, as well as an international team of Scottish Highland dancers exhibit their exquisite proficiency there. Performances are made by the guards of honor from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Mongolia, and the Honorary Cavalry Escort of the Presidential Regiment and the Kremlin Riding School traditionally demonstrate miracles of dressage.

A contest of children’s wind bands ‘Spasskaya Tower to Children’ is also held in the framework of the festival. There is a specially built ground wh ere the children’s bands and guards of honor from different cities and countries perform, wh ere concerts, interactive shows, creative studios and cognitive entertainments are organized.
