The TBG-7V round is designed to engage enemy manpower in the open, in trenches, field shelters, various buildings and structures, light armored and soft-skinned vehicles. It renders enemy manpower ineffective inside rooms, trenches, bunkers when the grenade explodes at a distance of 2 meters from a trench or a loophole and inside rooms up to 300 m3.

The warhead has a high blast, fragmentation and incendiary effect.
