The 7.62mm Kalashnikov modernized PKTM tank machine gun is an automatic weapon designed to engage enemy manpower and fire weapons.
The machine gun is designed to equip tanks, armored vehicles, helicopters, armored boats and other war materiel.
The PKTM can fire cartridges with conventional, armor-piercing incendiary, tracer and enhanced penetration bullets. Ammunition is fed from a metal belt stowed in a cartridge box.
