Mission

The 83t60-RSE system of regional tactical data exchange is intended for distributing and disseminating combat management information with the help of Forces, Armies; and for information interaction of regional network users of the naval command control system.

Composition

Group of planning and communication management:

• planning of readiness and application of system, networks, communication facilities and data exchange;
• control of system, networks, communication facilities and data exchange;
• control of forming, distributing and inputing key data;
• control of all system elements functioning;
• protection of data, programs and means.

Server of data transmission (fail-safe):

• exchange of all types of information via conventional channels and network paths of wire (fiber-optical) communications and radio networks;
• providing managerial and engineering interface and information interface to the operational, operating and command centres;
• providing interface with data transmissions equipment;
• providing gateway switching of the information;
• providing universal addressing of subscribers;
• unitization of data links in a uniform track for increasing the network capacity and reliability of user's and gateway bindings;
• messages storing for the subscribers connected via channels of the switched telephone network, and their delivery to the subscriber at connecting to it;
• storing of especially important formalized messages in databases for the purpose of subscribers’ information restoration;
• protection of data, programs and means.

Data Transmission Equipment (DTE):

• interfacing with conventional channels and network paths of satellite, wire (fiber-optical), radio relay, short-wave and ultra-short wave radio communications;
• interfacing with automatic telephone exchange of Public Switched Telephone Network;
• cryptoprotection and false data entry prevention of transferred and received data;
• protection of the information against errors in communication channels;
• dynamic and static routing of data packages taking into account priority rank and importance category, and also connectivity of elements in System of Regional Tactical Communication and Data Exchange.
