Rosoboronexport, Rostec’s member, is taking part at the 6th Moscow International Security Conference MCIS-2017 held under auspices of the Russian Ministry of Defense at the Redisson Royal Hotel, Moscow, on April 26-27, where it set up a booth.
The event has brought together heads of defense and law enforcement agencies of numerous states and international organizations. Top on the agenda are issues as follows: fight against international terrorism, role of defense departments and ministries in strengthening security in various regions of the world, as well as security in Europe and Asia-Pacific that accounts for 45 percent of Rosoboronexport’s destinations.
“The world arms market has always been particularly sensitive to international security challenges. In the 21st century people face far more threats to their lives and health, some states have to fight for their sovereignty and independence, and stability of entire regions is threatened. Rosoboronexport has been supporting and taking part in the Moscow International Security Conference to be at the tip of the spear of the issues bothering the international establishment,” said Rosoboronexport's Director General Alexander Mikheev.
Meetings with foreign delegates are due to take place during the event to discuss military and technical cooperation and better understand the needs of customers.
“The meetings that we hold on the sidelines of the conference with Rosoboronexport’s partners are instrumental in better understanding of their needs and adjusting the company’s marketing policy on the international arms market, where Russia firmly maintains the lead,” A. Mikheev added.
Apart from military equipment for all services, the company offers to its foreign partners a gamut of products for special anti-terrorist units. Additionally, Rosoboronexport has developed and promotes its new marketing project, namely the Comprehensive Security Systems, encompassing solutions that comprised the security backbone at international forums and events hosted by Russia, including the Sochi-2014 Olympics.
